1Peter 2:5 And you are living stones that God is building into His spiritual temple. What’s more, you are His holy priests. Through meditation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.
As we join together with the body of Christ praying and praising the creator of all Elohim, we are building a wall.
N.T. Wright says, “We are like bricks being stacked one upon another. Joining with the saints of the past in building this wall.”
A wall of God’s glory shining forth, pushing back the darkness of the enemy. The chief cornerstone (Jesus) has asked us to speak out His Word changing our environment, physical and spiritual. This is partnering with our Father’s purpose in the “here and now”. The tension we feel in getting things accomplished is the “not yet.” Jesus said, “the Kingdom of God is at hand.” Mark 1:15 It has begun, but will not be complete until He sits on His throne in Jerusalem.
Within each believer is a specific task, a destiny we are called to for His Kingdom. Holy Spirit speaks to us, guiding our path in His Word and in our hearts. Are you listening? The creator of all wants to engage in conversation with you!
